The Coordinating Committee of the International Long Term Ecological Research Network (I-LTER) had its annual meeting in Colima, Mexico from October 27 to November 1st, 2005. The meeting, hosted by the Colima University, will include a first day Symposium (October 27) in junction with the Mexican LTER network. Along with its usual business agenda, the Coordinating Committee meeting included workshops and ILTER strategic planning exercises. After the meeting, there was a field trip to three nearby Mex-LTER sites: "Chamela", "Coastal Ecosystems" and "Manantlán".
